for me it is diesel. cheaper on insurance and better economy. :)

But with petrol you dont get the chesty cough like you got all the time ;D

I think give my time over again I would go for a jtd and not for just the reasons you listed either ;)

Well it would seem that I have a bit off a dilemma here I own a petrol driven stilo but would go for the JTD if I had realised when buying ..so is there a de trol car in the range ;D

Normal petrol engines just dont do it for me any more unless they're clever, turbo/supercharged or have 5 cylinders or more ;)
I came from having supercharged Lancias to 'normal' motoring for a bit (came to my senses) and the only way to get back on that wall of torque again is to go JTD ;D
I haven't driven an Abarth/Schui yet, but I still think point to point a well driven JTD would be more than a match except for the aural stimulation :o
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - I smell a test coming on 8)
I guess the main thing is the power, economy and low running costs of a JTD over a petrol job.
