    Default A few Scottish Events

    Hi Folks,

Nice to find the new meets area! Just want to invite you guys to a few meets Fiat Scotland are attending this year! Would be great to see a few straddlers from across the border!

First of all, we've got a meet in Glasgow at the end of the month. Full details are TBC, but the event is on 31st January. Muppet can maybe update you more on this one 'cos he's organising it!

I'm looking to run a mini meet in Aberdeen/shire in February, provisionally around the 13th.

In summer we'll be attending St Andrews Italian Car Day - again, the more the merrier here, this is on Sunday 30 May at Craigtoun Park. Luckily, last year a few of us from Fiat Scotland were able to camp on site. Not sure if that option will be open to us again this year, but most of us make a weekend of it anyway!

We'll no dobut put up new posts with EXACT details as the meets come rolling in, but please feel free to join us for any of them! The more the merrier!

    Cheers,
    Martyn

Nothing I would like better that to come to the fiat day in may but one decrepit body 454 miles each way and 8Hrs and 14 mins each way with the wind behind me make it a doubtful for me ..boo hoooooo

Sounds like a cool thing to go to!
Perhaps we can do some car pooling and have a fun time there!

St Andrews is a brilliant event - I'd guess I could compare it to a mini Stanford Hall Italian Day (which we're also hoping to go to this year). Last year was the busiest I've seen it and all sorts of exotica turned up - F50, numerous 308s, 328s, 355s, 348s, a few Lambos incl a Countach, Diablo and the like. There was also a rather nice looking Alfa 8C as well. Our stand, which was a combined effort with FF (bit of an on going topic over on FF the now...eek) had over 25 cars at the event including 3 Stilo's. BBQ, Gazebo and the like were all on hand and for a fiver entry it amazing value - do I sound like too much of a salesman?

We have meets like the Glasgow one throughout the year, details of which will usually be in my sig for a start, on FS and on FF so if anyone fancies it by all means get in touch
