i was flicking threw a mag today and read about new cars coming in the next couple of years . and the one that cought my eye was the fiat coupe abarth . what you think

it would be nice to see the 2.0 l turbo just like the old one . but this time with a bit more bhp . thats if abarth can be botherd to make a new engine and dont just stick the same 1.4 turbo in it like everthing else latley !

fiat at the moment got 1.4 itis..its a terrible disease to have..about time they gave their cars a proper sport car engine to go with the image..

I'm going to be controversial and say I'm not too sure about that. Looks a bit generic in the 2 door coupé kind of way - if you removed the badges it could be a VX, Toyota or something similar. Guessing it's not Pininfarina styling (though the original Coupe was a product of Chris Bangle). I dunno, maybe it'll change before production - just getting a bit bored with the sort of jelly moulded design that seems to prevalent these days.

its a bit cappuchino (sp) esque in the side & rear 3/4 profile i dunno if i like it or not, it could be a grower though. i think they should use an alfa 3.0v6 twin turbo in it and make it rear wheel drive, could be a winner if that happened, but prob not. will prob be a 1.4 turbo fwd and that would just make me yyyyaaaaawwwwnnnnnnn! lol
