Just wondered, what are people's thoughts on the Fiat Sedici?

I have found myself taking a rather strong liking to it, but wondered what general opinions were on it? :)

We almost bought one but after a long search found that they all seem to suffer with a lot of gear box problems..so the wife decided to steer clear..

Not at all surprised by that as its the same car made under cooperation between the two companies..one had 4x4 option and the other ones doesnt..

I just think its something a little different without straying too far from what I know (Italian).

Both the Sedici and SX4 are the same car, just the Sedici a cheaper version. I believe that the SX4 does come with the option of 4WD, but isn't standard, not sure about the Sedici though. I do like the look of them alot!

We liked the look as well Jon and it offered what I wanted at that time.some thing on the high side and a bit easier to get into..the 08 panda has now a fixed higher passenger seat and i have trouble bending my neck to get in it ..the 06 panda had a fixed passenger seat in a lower position [no problemo for me ]..they only give two options for power plant's 1.6 and JTD on the sedici..didnt want to go back to the same engine the stilo had [allbeit with slightly better emmissions] and didnt want to go with the JTD either so it kind of made our mind up for us ..the gear box problems I found finally put the nail in the coffin at the end and the fact that the salesman was a right tit..

Give me 5 min with it and I'd have it looking like a chealsea tractor that'd take on a range rover any day.

Stilo looks like one most of the time lol.
