    Question Black lights

Now this may be a cardinal sin asking, but I'm curious as I'm not a fan of silver/chrome...

Are there any headlights and rear ligthts that have a black lining to them as opposed to the existing oem lights? I appreciate that on headlights chrome is used for reflection of light and that but it looks like certain areas could be black in colour without effecting the light output.

I'm aware of a lexus light as shown here:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FIAT-STILO-01-...3A1%7C294%3A50

But not overly keen on the look. Anything else around?

Not saying I'm changing my lighting set up, just curious

they do look very nice on a black car, just not too sure who they would look on any other colour, have seen them on a yellow one and they suit that well

Hate Lexus lights on most cars and the Stilo one's are no exception. They aren't too bad in black on a black or yellow car, but I prefer the OEM ones. If they could do an OEM version with the black backing, that'd be perfect.

Tempted to lightly smoke my rear lights and get smoked side repeaters. The repeaters I have are yellowing with age somewhat and they're fairly cheap online.

I'm with you muppet. Not a fan of lexus lights in the slightest but if there was an oem light with the black backing that would be ideal. Unless you're willing to do it yourself, there is little option out there by the looks of it!

I've heard of people dismantling lights to do just that, but not sure how easy that'd be with the Stilo's. Would give it a try, but don't want to break them
