    budget £60/£70 for tyres
I'm glad to say most people do if they want sound advise..coupe wheels will push out the track width wider than stilo wheels because the offset is different and thats in itself isnt a bad thing..its just the issues the extra dia have regarding unsprung weight drive shaft stress ect that concerns me and the extra tramlining affect and general ware and tare the wheels will have on the stilo's suspension/transmission set up in general..its fine to look chav with big wheels but is it really worth the extra cost when things go tits up..just ask your self that question ? Budget tyes once again are not a sound investment and trade off for grip and long life for the sake off fitting the wheels either ..another bit of sound advise ..

The wise one does talk sense. I had 18's on my 156, caused no end of problems. The car looked gorgeous but was awful to drive. I ended going to standard 16" and the car drove beautifully. Lucky I got all this done before we saw any snow that year.

I think visually the wheels will look great, not too over the top either but at the cost of extra stress on the components as Phil said.

Ive got 17" on mine and its great, but Im getting pissed off with it at the moment as its developed more knocks at the front, it drives me insane.. The thought of that teamed with bigger wheels would be unbearable for me.

Not to mention the stress the bearings take! it will shorten the life by half at least.

It's the one thing that's swaying me towards not getting them is the extra stress on the drivetrain. The one major benefit of these ones is they're light weight alloys, so may actually be lighter than the one's I have on.

I dunno, I'll maybe PM the chap in question and ask a few more details on the wheels.

Ideally, I'd like Blades or Claws, but trying to find them at the minute is near impossible. Wish I'd grabbed those one's of Greggers a few months back

Well, fate's stepped in and they're provisionally sold to someone else so that's that debate as to whether I should get them over

I'm still wanting some new alloys, though at least the one's I've got are in good nick and look good. Plan would be to get new one's and flog the one's I've got to recoup the cost of them.

Have to say, I would've loved to have gotten my hands on one of those sets of Schui OZ Super Ts that were floating around on eBay a while back. Chap on FF and FS got a set for his Marea for well under £300 and they look brilliant on that. Wonder if any of the Fiat Dealers still have them in the stock rooms *ponders*
