i was wondering to see if thats a good idea or is it pointless

Re: A though !
Have seen a few cars with the bonnet and roof done, can look quite decent. Have been thinking of doing that myself along with smoothing the rub strips off the front and rear bumpers and changing the splitter on the front bumper. Schui front and rear bumpers would be more ideal though.
That linked to kit doesn't look too bad either. Fairly subtle, compared to some I've seen anyway.

Re: A though !
nice feedback
cost wise, would changing the color to black be a bank breaker or an affordable upgrade..?
would the both of you do it yourself or get it done somewhere???
ooo yeah muppet, the Schui front and rear bumpers would be very nice if can afford them lol

Well, respray I've been quoted at £100 a panel - so roof and bonnet would be £200 at a guess. This wouldn't include sorting any dents or chips though I'd presume, but you can do that yourself if you know how to keep costs down as it doesn't really require any special environment to fill in dents/chips, sand and prime bodywork.
Personally, I wouldn't do it myself. If you've got a garage big enough then you could maybe do it, but for such big area's, you really need a good airflow in the room with controlled temperature and good compressor system for spraying. Put it this way, you wouldn't get a great finish with some rattle cans from Halfords.
