I got it from eBay - Fiat Stilo Grill badgeless LONDON on eBay (end time 28-Jan-10 13:55:11 GMT)
It was a little cheaper when I got it a few years ago but was one of the easiest and cheapest mods I did. The only difficult thing was spraying the backing and making sure the grille was level when I put it on. Personally think it completely transforms the look of the car. There's quite a few others that have the same grille as well, Coyle for example as well as Mini Meaty - it's rather popular.
I'll attach some more pics showing the process, you'll note the standard non-lowered suspension as well

I've thought about meshing up the lower grilles in a black mesh to match - would also help should I feel the need to put a cold air feed on as it'd be easier to cut the mesh than the plastic grilles (plus of course I can put the grilles back on after ward when it comes to selling). But then, ideally I'll find the rare as hen's teeth Schui bumper and it'll be sorted. Or I can just nick the one off Abz' after he's sprayed it

might be mate as actually never saw one in flesh with mesh grille, but from what i've seen in the photos, dunno, just dont work for me, as said before either all in mesh either all in plastic. and i'm quite delighted about the plastic so far and i love the abarth badge on the front, coudnt get rid of that one

That's fair enough. I mean, you could probably get a better look depending on how you do it. I've seen it done where someone's made their own mesh one over on FF, though I forget who it was. Worked out rather decent too and looked a little more recessed than the eBay one I picked up.

It's an option certainly. The Mattig grille, which is basically a standard grille but de-badged retailed for around that if you were lucky via German eBay but if you were unlucky it was over £100 if memory serves. The Lester one too is something like £70 odd and you have to paint the recessed surround of that one.
I've seen it done where you cut out the badge of the old grille and use fibre glass and filler to fill in the slats and make a debadged grille - looks like the Mattig one but cheaper of course to achieve. The eBay one I got, I paid £45 all in if memory serves and am still rather chuffed with it. Had it on the car since May 2008 and it looks good as new.

I have to say, I quite like the look of it. Not sure if I'd do that to mine yet, but I've considered it quite a few times lol. Not cheap by ebay though!

Oringal Look:
New gril fitted + bottom bumper meshed
Easy to do and a quick mod. makes the car look alot meanier in my eyes
Looks rather decent, very similar to the Lester one as well I believe but that isn't quite as cheap
Noticed a few weeks ago by the way that my mesh one from eBay's started to rust a little. Nothing that a wire brush and black paint can't sort though

nice one mate, how'd it turn out? aye my mesh cam in silver bit spray paint did the job
.. can't argue with that. in my opinion the grill being debadged is a cheap easy mod that inhances the look big time.
