The only parts I meshed on my Lester bumpers were the cutouts on the front and the rear..I used builders silicon mastic to stick it in place..never came off once it had cured..

Here you go get the idea..over cut the shape out of the mesh sheet by about an inch ..get under the car and mould the shape of the back of the bumper into the mesh..squeeze some sealant/mastic where the mesh will lay and push mesh into the sealant..you may have to hold it there for a while till the stuff starts to cure so take a good book with you under there..

Of course, what you should do is just get one of these. Basically it's what I've got and is the simplest and most robust solution. The only issue is you have to paint the backing behind the grille as any colour but black will show through. Still, you'd have to do that with any mesh grille. Attached is a pic of it on RGZ, no glue required ...

it doesnt look too bad, but imho it's missing all the front end done, it stands out, but for me it doesnt work, it's either all bumper in mesh either all in plastic black trim

I know what you mean, but when you see it in the flesh it doesn't look at all bad. Though of course I would say that

I've thought about meshing up the lower grilles in a black mesh to match - would also help should I feel the need to put a cold air feed on as it'd be easier to cut the mesh than the plastic grilles (plus of course I can put the grilles back on after ward when it comes to selling). But then, ideally I'll find the rare as hen's teeth Schui bumper and it'll be sorted. Or I can just nick the one off Abz' after he's sprayed it

Is that a ready meshed grille you've stuck in muppet? Looks good, where did you get it from ?
