Wheels
Well having had the blades on for a few months, I'm actually considering going back to the standard twin 6 spoke alloys that came on the Stilo when I bought it.
Not so much down to appearance (as I do think the blades suit the stilo well) but more on a practical point of view - tyres are cheaper and larger tyre walls that aren't rock solid providing no flexible movement for snow/etc.
Reckon I'm mad or should go for it?

Re: Wheels
Only benefit other than cheaper tyre cost would be better ride quality down to the tyre index profile..would you like to give us what the two tyre sizes are on both wheels..

Re: Wheels
On the blades i suspect insy is running 215/45/17 and on the twin 6 spoke 16inch wheels he'll be running 205/55/16
i am still trying to track down another 18inch wheel for my stilo to no availe so i'm forced to run the standard 6 spoke 16's *sigh*

Re: Wheels
Well if innsy is going down to the 16" wheels i think the car will be slightly lighter on the steering with a better ride..on the down side I always found 16's quite expensive to buy..

Depends where you go really. I got my Dunlop SP3000A's in that 16" size for less than £60 a corner and I'm sure Black Circles will do similar brands for similar money.
Btw, if these Blades go on the market I may be interested in taking them off your hands. Finances permitting of course

Re: Wheels
Interesting answers :)
If I was to go back to the original style wheels, I'd need to buy them from somewhere. Just pondering if its worth it and perhaps its just not worth the hassle. I like the look of the blades but with the SP Sport MAXX at £99 odd, it gets a little pricey when I pick up another tyre ruining screw from work. 215/45R17 at mo. Can't remember what used to be on the 16"s.
The front 2 wheels are currently on similar tread so I might just try changing my tyre choice as I do know the tyres have a dramatic effect on ride and grip.

Re: Wheels
I got Avon Coopers all round on mine, £35 a corner... The joys (Or sheer luck) of living next door to a tyreman! Even did me 6 tyres for my astra for less than £150! All decent tyres too! YAY haha!
My Avons are 215/45/17
