How do i fit smoked rear lights on an xbox stilo ?
hey lads,
got my smoked rear lights today and ran outside to fit them...only to find myself confused as always with this damn car. first of all i have the xbox edition stilo which comes with a big sub screwed in to the back on the passengers side, the manual is a disgrace, gives me about 5 lines of instructions which im supposed to interpret myself. the damn thing is a book of riddles ! i HATE car manuals!
anyway, need some advice on how to do these as i need them done by sunday for the Fast Show !

My sub held in with three screws and remove the multi connector and out it comes, that gives you access to the nuts required to remove the light cluster.

Re: How do i fit smoked rear lights on an xbox stilo ?
forget it, the drivers side light came out after some wrestling with mega tight screws.
but those f**ckin alien screws the woofer is held in with is nothing but a massive fiat P*SSTAKE! MEGA tight and god knows what tool you need to remove it, all my wrenches and pliers are too big for that tiny amount of workspace they expect you to work in.
ridiculous, i officialy HATE fiat.
im gonna have to shell out at a garage now to get them fitted. will fiat dealership fit aftermarket lights ?

Chill,
Mines held in with torx bolts, In/out and bulb change takes five minutes tops. Go to a local motor factors and show them what you need, fit them straight into a ratchet. It will cost you nothing compared to what a garage would charge you and save you getting laughed at. If you are feeling flush go to halfords, they will sort you out.
You then have the tools for any other jobs should you need them, such as a bulb blowing.

my dad says its a star bolt, should be able to go b&Q and pick me up a screwdriver to deal with it.

star bolt is torx, yeah B&Q etc will be able to sort you out.
Torx - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Get a good one though as some stuff can be in quite tight.
Good luck
