    Don't even think of it you will get water in all the sensors and get Bing Bing binging all the time best do it the old way with paint brush solvent and rags and elbow grease ..I think you can get the elbow grease in tins now ;)

    i used an engine degreaser and splashed it around the engine bay and then power hosed the engine, then i threw on some solicone based white stuff lol, (sorry im not very technical done it at a mates house and used plenty of unlabeled bottles, lol) then power hosed that again and the engine bay came up great

    here is a pic but hopefully will get you a better pic

    Dan i used high temp spray paint, grey and bright blue to match the rest of the car, took me about six hours in total, spent most of the time masking up the areas for painting then set it in the sun for a couple of hours and repeated masking up the area i sprayed grey and then finished off with the blue spray. . . . cheers for the idea though Dan!!!
