Anybody want to give me some tips on how to spruce up the bland Stilo engine bay?
I'll be binning the engine cover soon.

Cover the old wiring with the new stuff like I have for a start and if you want to you could have the expansion tank and washer bottle made up in metal and chromed ..although you could probably get some thing very similar if you searched already made up :)

Well I've changed my mind completley now and painted the engine and battery cover :D
Here's a pic of them on the car
And I used this stuff
It says it's tempreature resistant up to 150C so it shoud be ok, I'll have to wait and see :)
The paint is a bit rough around the edges because I didn't have time to finish it off completley today.
Lots of masking up on that cover there dan you must have the patiece of a saint ..never realised yourcar is purple :o

I have a blue hose kit in the house and if it stops raining i will get it fitted, but was wondering phil do you know if removing the engine cover completely, causes any sort of damage over time???
Def leaving the battery cover on but gonna steal Dan's idea and spray it to match the car BLUE/SILVER
I have had mine off now for many months and had no problems with it removed ..I take it you have an under tray on your car to stop excessive water coming up from below ?.. the only other benefit the engine cover has is it covers the ECU but here again I haven't had any problems and I have driven in all kinds of weather :)
