as i've learned already quite a few things already (just got a set of wheels) you need to look for 4x98 PCD or 4x100 PCD, but then you will need wobbly bolts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adWfw2a-U6M (that was the best explanation what they are to me)..
Stilos can take up to 19" wheels with some modifications, but obviously it's up to you, 18's are probably the safe way, with some spacers they will looks awesome, but yeah as PNL said we need some pics or links to know what you're looking at![]()
Pics are needed defo and on that note I have to say on a standard stilo 18s sound like a good idea but they aren't we have discussed this on the forum many a time i'd go for 17s and trust me the ride comfort will be gone if you are rollin on 17s. The standard stilo never had 18s it was only the Schui GP that had the OZ Superimos in 18" guise
There will be other issues to do with 18s just do a search. get yourself a lovely set of claws or blades and if you're lucky some multi spokes

Very true this statment ..poor ride quality/lots of tram lining/ increased ware and stress on all steering and suspension systems..
I would not recomend going larger than 16/17" wheels on a stilo..they even tramline when useing the 17" one so god help you when you have fitted 18" they look chavtastic but thats about it..![]()
International man of mystery
Wit, sarcasm, you get it all from me..
and why did no one mentioned all this before i got mines?well comparing the blades and the kei's now i can say that the ride havent changed a bit, it has alot smaller tyres, but it doesnt feel like that... i thought it will be proper annoying going thru the potholes etc. but somehow it feels about the same... need the tracking done also, but so far so good "goes down to touch wood".... ohh and what about balancing, do you need to do it if they were balanced before, but on other car?

Because you knew lmao
The reason you don't notice the change in ride quality is because it was ruined anyway when you were on the blades...I did because I went fron the 15" steelies straing to 17s...Yes I could easily go round a roundabout with a grin but I was scared of a bumpy road lmao
Nope no need to do the balancing if they're balanced already......If you can get the tracking done front and back that will be better for you and car most garages will say you don't need to but you know you do.

thought so, the guy at work said that i will need to balancing, nearly scared me into it, but i knew that the tracking needs to be done as it does pull the wheel to the left quite alot... what concerns the comfort of the ride, honestly it feels the same if not even better(especially when you get people lookin at the car with the jaw droppedthat really helps to ignore every bit of comfort lack) heheh
