Alloy Offset Question
Although I sold my Stilo to my Grandad and am now driving a Bravo HGT, I want my 17" Claws back! The Bravo came with these and I think they're ugly...
7x17", PCD 98, Offest 35 and Bore 58.1
With the offset at 35, would they go on the Stilo without spacers needed. I'm not a huge fan of the wheels and would only need to swap the tyres round if this is the case. If not I got the original Bravo wheels and will shove them straight on, just prefer the Stilo Claws!
I feel a lil guilty putting these alloys on the Stilo, so I apologise now! I just dont like them and I'm sure I could talk my grandad into switching them.

Re: Alloy Offset Question
Off the top of my head I think the stilo uses a 43 off set but you can check that out here
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
To see if they will miss the inner arches or stick out to far into the outer wing ..

Re: Alloy Offset Question
Thanks for the link!
Now, being someone with absolutely no knowledge, I need something clarified. I've read the Stilo can take anything between 35-45 but I don't know if it's with or without spacers. Are the results below saying it will need them?
Inner Clearance: 8mm MORE (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)
Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 8mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)
(Sorry to keep asking, just want to make sure!)

Re: Alloy Offset Question
You should be fine with the measurments given ..just have a look at the outer one tho and compare it to the standard wheels [imagine an 8mm increase] just to see if it sticks out over the wheel arch to much ..I wouldnt have thought so cos the stilo arches are massive and should take the increase easily ..

Re: Alloy Offset Question
Hello.
I am continuing this thread instead of starting a new one, as the question is similiar.
One of my colleagues (did I write this correctly?) is German and is going to Germany in a couple weeks - driving. He can pick up a set of 17" Razors (which are my favourites) as they are impossible to get here. I have to buy them off e-bay though.
Anyway - the offset question. I'm now on Fiat original 15" alloys with 6,5" width. What is the offset on these? The Razors are 17" and 7" wide with offset most likely to be 41 mm. Will the offset differ according to engine type / wider brakes?
http://cgi.ebay.de/Felgensatz-4x-Ori...QQcmdZViewItem
I have no return option here, so I need to know the offsets on both... my 15"6,5" and the 17"7".
Regards, Morten.

Hehe... Well, try to put the Ritmo Abarth 130TC wheels on any Ritmo (Strada) - and no wheels will roll, as they all will bolt on to the hub and fix itself onto the frame and wheel arch. Bigger brakes demanded offset of 60 mm... That's the main reason I asked actually. :)
