First of all Welcome to performancestilo ..Now If you want to go from the cat back then your going to have to go custom build ..there are some back boxes out there for the 1.6 but the company doing the system will do that any way I'm not to sure whats in London [man on a mission might be able to help you there] I could recommend you these people if you want to travel ..

If you want to get rid of the cat and go sports cat then the last company do a very good one which is a one piece spun one and not a welded one :)

I wouldnt go bigger that 17" on any stilo ..bigger wheels bring more problems .. also up the pressures on them to 36psi on the front to help with the dreaded inside tyre ware you get on the stilo..

i wouldnt say more problems aslong as you stick to the same overall diameter, remember the schui came with 18's as standard
215/40/18 though them size tyres are expensive so the next width up
225/40/18 are much cheaper >:(

He has the 1.6 engine and not the 2.4 one though ..and bigger wheels give you drive losses as well as it did to a certain person with 19s fitted to her 1.8 ;) also the bigger the diameter the harder the ride and I like my comfort these days ;D

mine is fine with the 225/40/18. ONLY downfall though is the dreaded tramlining lol it follow the roads like its on rails!
back to topic, any reputable custom exhaust company should be able to weld/fit most backboxes to your car should you not wish to go for a full system, but as PNL said, they can tailor you a backbox anyways.
custom back boxes usually cost more than an off the shelf item, but you get more choice and get it in the style you want, but having said that a decent off the shelf item from top suppliers like ragazzon and such cost as much as a custom one anyway.
pay your money take your choice, go custom and choose your sound too, loud, quiet, inbetween, the choice in quite literally endless ;)

thanks guys, will take everthign in 2 acount,
its my 1st car u see, dont want it 2 look like a space ship, but jus look nice, ive had a bass box sittin in there since frb still aint got if fitted 800 watts n am gives out 500 lol
as soon as pay day cums its tints then system
another Question---
has any changed the seats to all leather, or wood leather seat covers jus do the trick?
could always try and find a scrapped stilo with leather init, though stilo's at scrappies, are about as rare as rocking horse doo doo ;D
i have heard the seats out of a alfa 166, are a straight swap, though couldnt magine them to be cheap, could get them re-trimmed for about 600quid, but there are some very good leather covers out there, mum got some from halfords and they look like they come standard, good fit.
the only problem you have with covers, is if the seats have side airbags, dont really want to cover them up ;)
welcome by the way. lol ;D ;D
