hi all was on ebay this evening got a pair of front discs for my stilo for 23.99 delivered. complete bargain considering one disc from my local motor factors is £22+vat. i'm all chuffed with myself :D

Mintex are high quality product and good disks..pads are very hard compound and screech like a stuffed pig..even when you copper grease the back of them..good find Scottie ..spos you will be wanting a disc brake change Guide next.. you love to keep me busy dont you..:)

it okay mate was a mechanic for 3 years i think i know how to change a set of disc, lol, how about i make a brake disc guide when i get around the putting them in?

Think I might look into getting discs and pads all round shortly to store them in the garage (I like to keep spares).

Mintex I know come highly recommended. What about red dot and EBC when it comes to the Stilo? My preference on other cars has been Ferodo, but again with the Stilo, its new ground for me :)

i use ferodo pads all the time all my cars have always got ferodo, they really are a good pad, i'd have nothing else about me, i once change to a spurious (sp) make, cant remember just some cheap shit pads i got in the local motor factors and they were dreadfull kept them on for about 4 weeks and swapped them out for ferodo's and never looked back since.

I had EBC performance front discs on the front of mine with red dot fast road pads ..with OMP performance discs on the rears along with EBC standard pads..had my braided brake lines from Julian at balance motor sports..excellent combination and would recommend all items to anyone who wanted the extra braking power... OEM wise I found the EBC pads very good as well..had ferodo on the car when I bought it and the braking was poor..
