Squeak Squeak
Yesterday I did a 29mile run from Crewe to Whitchurch and back. When I set off everything was fine and quiet same at high speed but when I slowed down in whitchurch I could hear a squeak.
On the way back everything was quiet at speed, get into Crewe and squeak again mainly when i was going round the bends turning right. I had seized caliper but that was fixed I also had new brakes fitted at the same time what could it be??????

Re: Squeak Squeak
How long ago did you have the caliper and brakes done..? could just be an accumulation of dust..causes all sorts of problems and mainly squeaking/squealing..

Re: Squeak Squeak
cooper grease can usually solve the problem for squeaky brakes, where is the squeak originating from? could also be a dry bushing.

Re: Squeak Squeak
I did her in doors the other week she said my brakes seem to have lost some of their power and are squealing now and again..dust clogs up were pads are seated [in the clips on the front] and they cant move freely with the hydraulic action of the caliper piston..and to be honest IMO copper grease does hold a lot of dirt and dust at this point and it accumulates quickly..so a clean out now and again does benefit ..take off a wheel and give it a good clean up with a wire brush to remove as much of the brake dust build up as possible..of course if it continues then it might b worth investigating further..but let us know how you get on with a general clean ..and check to see if the hand brake is sticking at all anoth worth looking at ..

Re: Squeak Squeak
get it right in there mate and give it all a good squirt do disc and pads and calipers. just watch your brake when driving out could take a few presses of the pedal to get your full brakes back.
