Hi All,

I have a rattle (as if somet were lose) that only seems to crop up when I am at slow speeds over uneven surfaces.

Local garage says it's the suspension arm that's fooked and another say link rods (Which I know they're fine as they're practically new) Oh and another says wheel bearing whichI'm sure I'd know if it was

If it is the suspension arm can I just get the bushes replaced seeing that's what's gone wrong or do I need the whole arm (Monies are a bit tight at the mo)

I have found these Fiat Stilo Front Lower Suspension Arm (Pair) on eBay (end time 14-Oct-09 1355 BST) is that good or what.

Is this also known as the ball joint dooda thingy execuse the techy term

FIAT STILO 2001-2006 WISHBONES (PAIR) on eBay (end time 23-Oct-09 00:56:18 BST) i ordered these steven and they are a great job, i wouldnt go to the hassle of replacing the individual bushes. half an hour had both sides replaced mate.

Those look like the same as the ones I found (correct me if I'm wrong) and both pairs come to about £70 delivered

So are they easy to fit for a non car techy person like me.

Are ther any special tools required

hmmmm, cant remember mate of mine done them, socket set. big hammer and a tyre level, air gun if you can get your hands on a compressor mate.
my mate done them while i was doing the pollen filter.

hMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM looks like some more money for me mechanic then............don't like fiddling with what I don't know me

Thanks for the guide and you now need to move near me

not a chance will i leave northern ireland! you move over here mate lol. have a crack at it yourself, you'll be suprised how easy they are to change!

I'm tempted to I'll have a looksy under there and see what I find

they are connected @ 3 points mate, only prob you may have is the balljoint. get a tyre lever and put pressure on the joint and give it a whack with a big hammer. sorted!
