I've used Greenstuff in the past and been quite impressed, the best bit is no brake dust. If you put copper grease on the parts of the pad that touches the caliper (def not the disc) then that usually stops any sqealing. As far as discs, I would avoid grooves and go for drilled discs. Grooved discs get very noisey when they heat up, besides Porsche fit drilled discs, if its good enough for them it'll do for me.
