    Default Cheapest Brake Discs ?

    hey lads,

just bought myself front and rear EBC Ultimax Pads for my baby, i was gonna go greenstuff but i don't think i really need anything fancy at the moment. got the front and rear for 33 quid delivery included on ebay. a good buy i think.

    ive spotted these on ebay

FIAT STILO HATCHBACK 1.2 1.6 16V 1.8 FRONT BRAKE DISCS on eBay (end time 07-Apr-10 08:59:19 BST)

seems a good deal, just wondering if anyone has anything cheaper before i buy ?

Euro car parts charge something around £24 each plus delivery, they have cheaper at £18/19 but are out of stock.

    Tis a good deal

You must be aware that while the 1.2/4 and 1.6 use the same front brake disc the 1.8 does not ..so the info they have given is not fact..ultimax [so I have been told ] are very good for the money but again I have not used then myself so connot make an assessment on another persons say so..

I think - do not know, but think the 1.6 SW uses the same brake setup as the 1.8. But that's not the issue here is it?

The point I am trying to make is very simple ..the 1.6 has front discs that are 257mm in diameter while the 1.8 has front discs with the diameter of 284mm..so on this alone I would ask the seller to state the diameter before you buy..
Dont want you to perchase and then find they have sent the wrong size..DOH!!! dont bloomin fit...

Yep, and here is what I think... The SW 1.6 uses 284 and the hatchback 1.6 uses 257.

    The honerary gentleman is correct..

MW in 1.8 1.9 JTD and 1.6 all use the same discs with a diameter of 284 mm
