hey lads,
just bought myself front and rear EBC Ultimax Pads for my baby, i was gonna go greenstuff but i don't think i really need anything fancy at the moment. got the front and rear for 33 quid delivery included on ebay. a good buy i think.
ive spotted these on ebay

I think - do not know, but think the 1.6 SW uses the same brake setup as the 1.8. But that's not the issue here is it?

The point I am trying to make is very simple ..the 1.6 has front discs that are 257mm in diameter while the 1.8 has front discs with the diameter of 284mm..so on this alone I would ask the seller to state the diameter before you buy..
Dont want you to perchase and then find they have sent the wrong size..DOH!!! dont bloomin fit...

Yep, and here is what I think... The SW 1.6 uses 284 and the hatchback 1.6 uses 257.

The honerary gentleman is correct..
MW in 1.8 1.9 JTD and 1.6 all use the same discs with a diameter of 284 mm
