it says the maximum drop is 50mm though on these, i think it says 60 in the manual, which i recieved by email. i'll post it on here if i can.

60mm is the "TUV Approved" Lowering, its what level they are tested at, they should go down about 100/120mm

Hmm other susepsnions will tend to go if you have your car dead low!
I had a pair of tecnix shocks, busted less than 500 miles.
