no wishbones or droplinks on the back of a stilo mate
it'll probably be your rear axle bushes or your exhaust catching on the axle, mine catches the axle

i have a rattle sometimes. Rear driver side. Nothing serious has happened other than the rubbing still. :-S
Something i should look into soon mide
is it a rattle or a knock? if its like a rattlely tingy noise it could be a spring
it's something of a both, depends on what road you're on, sometimes it will just give a little sound going over speed bump, the other times going thru a rough street with potholes it will feel like your in a wagon with the horses at the frontit's just annoying and i'm sick of it already... exaust sits fine, dont think it's catching anything, i'll need to go somewhere to check it
is there anything i could look into myself? can loosen suspension or stuff like that do that thing as i've red that one bloke has done it himself by changing the sills on the suspension or something like that
ohh and i know it doesnt have any of that on the rear, was just saying that even if it would be front it would be quite too early yet![]()

hmmmm..... you can jack the rear up and grab the spring and give it a good tug to see if there is any movement.
ifyou get under the car you can check the rear axle bushes to see if there is any oily residue leaking from them.
i've had a look around yesterday on one side, but couldnt see anything or feel any movement, maybe was trying to shake something elsebut couldnt get to other one as my car jack has f***ed up....
i wouldnt use the scissor jack made, get yourself a little 1ton hydraulic trolley jack. i never use scissor jacks, dangerous little f***ers. only to be used in an emergency
well that's where i'm stuck now, as i would like the trolley jack, but i still need the scissor one to put in the boot just in case... i think i'll get the scissor one as i'm really skint atm, maybe get the trolley later on![]()

If you're going to use the scissor jack (like I end up doing as well), get some axle stands under the car to make sure it's all safe. Personally I wish I had my own garage and pit to work on the car but no such luck, I just end up having to run the risk of bashing my head on stuff scuttling under the car![]()
