mine have lasted 90k miles and still going well

To be honest it'll vary upon the type of use they get, ie the load in the car, and quality of the roads you drive on. I've known some cars to last 20000miles and others 120,000+

I believe mine on my 1.4 are original and that's upto 82000 miles so far :)
