    Default URGENT SUSPENSION QUESTION!

Right bought those springs, sprayed up nice n pretty in blue (look good i will get pics up)

    but the problem....

after i sprayed em i looked at the rceipt, it says for 2.4/1.9, thats all :(
are they different springs from the 1.6 or will they just be stiffer for the 2.4/19 because of the added weight????

doh... you dont want to put those on your car they will hardly drop. The 2.4/1.9 engines are heavier than the 1.6. They will have a higher tension than the 1.6 ones. :-X

it was me he bought them off. i did say in the for sale thread i wasnt 100% sure they would fit.

i assumed you checked jungle? so are we saying they will fit but wont drop as much as on a 2.4 or 1.9?

i think tbh if they dont drop as much it would be a bonus as they were very low.

    Edit:

im sure they will fit a 1.4 but not 100% i took them off because the jtd is too heavy for them and i now hve speed bumps in and out of my estate! they looked sweet as but not practical for me. :(

I would be very surprised if they did fit they would be wound and the tensioned differently for the 1.6 ..

but the rubber plates that the spring sits on rotates so you would just move them round to line them up? aftermarket springs are wound and tensioned differently to oem?
