Yep EBC are a good disk I got them for Red devil for a good discount and posted them to him ..he was pleased I know ..think I got him the red stuff pads as well .. :-\ I will say the red dot pads are far better tho but they dont do them for the 2.4..but they do for the JTD..

yes, minimad has the discs and the pads.

you've tried both and you preferrred the red dot pads when pete got you to try them didnt you?

and to be honest, with the great forum price, theyre well woth it.

my only problem is im skint as **** after the suspension change, MOT, and fiat care service and no job, but i dont want to do crappy brakes and then regret it for the sake of a few british dollars.

i mean how often do you change discs?!

you got the EBC from roath autospares didnt ya phil. i think i'll be sticking to red dot, and hopefully they wont send me a number of warped ones like they did to mini.

ohhhhhhh mini!!!!!!!! what do you think?

only problem is the cost of fitting ::)

    lol thank you :-*

its just that brakes are something that i'd be scared to mess with.

i dont want to be cruising at 120 then have some muppet swerve infront of me, only for me to brake, nothing to happen, and find myself sitting in his passenger seat wondering what the heck happened!!!

    :D

is it only mini who has had these then? both red dot discs and pads

Yeah i think I'm the only one to have fitted Reddot brakes front and rear with matching grooved discs and matching pads.
I can't compare them to EBC as i've never used them. For the money I paid, about £260 from memory i don't think you'll beat that.
I agree with phil, you don't really need uprated rears but my discs were shot so needed replacing anyway and they were cheaper than OE.

    The choice is yours.............

It was the first time i'd changed brakes on the Stilo and I managed with no major hiccups.

you only really need rears if your doing track driving, like me ;D

ebc were good but wore out very quickly, due too track probably, but the red stuff pads are good, they require a bit of heat to work coz of the ceramic compound, but they wont fade,

and i can compare them to red-dot as i havnt had them.

i know have nitrac racing drilled and grooved discs all round with red stuff pads, and their top ;D ;D

Eventually got round to fitting the rear reddot discs and pads after the nightmare i had a few months back.
This 3rd set were fine and not warped, YEY. Must have just been a dodgy batch.
