I acquired a Stilo 1600cc petrol engine in pieces which I want to install in my X1/9 Fiat. For starters I downloaded the manual from the website, but cannot get it installed/open it to use. There are some files my computer does not recognise. Can someone possibly help or give advice on what I can do to make the manual work? Alternatively, where can I get a copy of a manual in the popular Microsoft Office formats?

Furthermore, has anybody had any experience in fitting an aftermarket engine management system to these engines, and what problems were experienced, what should I look out for?

I can't answer the question I'm afraid, but why the Stilo 1.6 lump in the X1/9? It's pretty heavy with relatively limited output.
Wouldn't an Uno turbo engine be better?
