    Question Tyres 205/55R16

I'm looking into getting 2 new rear tyres but cannot decide on what to go for.

Different people have different opinions on tyres so its a hard question to ask so I will try to avoid the blatent question of 'what is best?'.

    I'm looking into either:

    > Falken FK-452
    > Bridgestone RE050A (Potenzas)
    > Toyo T1-R
    > Goodyear F1

I have the t1-r and f1's on the coop and they do well on that but think they are more suited to its power. I'm not a spirited driver so looking for a well wearing tyre with comfortable ride more than anything. Think I'm leaning towards the Bridgestones but does anyone have any other suggestions?

i will recommend falkens all day long, i got converted a long time ago, got fk's on the alfa, got them on my punto, and ziex 912's (fk 452 predecessor) on the stilo and they handled the ring with ease, through price into the mix and they win again. and there also isnt alot of road noise, which is a bonus.

    There

Falken are an excellent tyre I ave them on my Panda..I use these people to get my rubber from and then go to a tyre fitter to get the fitted and balanced..I have still found it cheaper to do it this way cos most places over charge for tyres in the first place anyway..

Managed to get myself a puncture today so didn't have much choice other than to take the Stilo into STS Tyre Pros for a fix and an opinion. Plenty of life left in the existing tyres so I will hold off for a bit on a new purchase.

I had the Pirelli P7000 on the Bravo and found they wore very well so I guess the P7 would be similar?

I've got P6000s on the front and they're okay. Wanted to get the same for the back when I had dodgy wear, but the fitter didn't have them in stock. According to the website, they had P7s, but when I arrived they said it was for a different branch. Ended up getting a Dunlop Sport 3000s...

...which was a tenner cheaper than the P7 and is actually rather good. Seems better than the Conti I had before (before it lost half it's tread). Of course, I've only had it on a short time, so shall reserve full judgement for the next few weeks. Would've liked to go for the Falken, but couldn't stretch to that at the time and needed to get the tracking done at the same

Need to replace my last Continental with the same Dunlop either way though, can't stand having 3 tyre types on my car. I at least want 2 pairs of tyres Plus said Conti is now over 6 years old, so I've gotten decent miles out of it :)

Interesting feedback there. Has anybody had experience with bridgestones?

hard, noisy and crap in the wet, great in the dry though if a little expensive
