Mines only the Draper "cube" tool which fits on the end of my Socket, i have used it a few times and it works great. If i was fittign brakes all the time, i'd invest in a wind back tool, but for me own set of wheels (or ratehr brakes) the Draper cube is just the job

You mean mole grips..? does work but you have to be very very careful you dont damage caliper dust seals etc..but is do able ..the first time I did it I used..

    ..

Hardest part is near side caliper cos that winds in anti clockwise and you need to push while turning near enough so finding a G clamp that has an anticlockwise thread isnt an option so its fiddly screwing down in the opposite way to turning the piston..Doh !!! but I did it and so did many others as well..also the little spanner that comes with the 115mm angle grinder fits the caliper so that would be good way of tackling it as well..

pair of these mate ^^^^^ and a Gclamp and a friend on hand to wind the Gclamp as you turn anticlockwise is a good job, while holding back the dust seal with a small screw driver. never thought about a 4inch angle grinder key good thinking!!

Cool Re: Piston wind back kit

Jaws on the mole grips can be a bit on the wide side ..although I know there are different sizes I think the grips are a better option and dont clamp and cause damage to the piston..spanner is the better option if you can get over the two rotations at the same time.. now if you could get hold of or make up a G clamp with that anti clockwise thread you'd be quids in..I used to make my own G clamps when I was in the trade so it wouldn't be a problem should I need it..tools for the job tho are readily available so that doesn't really enter the equations these days..
