ok i need some advice, i have the front seats in my 1.2 that has the little tags says Airbag.
i'm swapping the seats from my JTD (JD) into my 1.2 and the JTD interior has tags saying OCS?
i know this is another term for airbag.

what i need to know are the connectors under the seats the same for both "types"???

They should be I woud have thought as the seats for both are identical as long as they are not electric

So what your saying is yours hadnt got OCS bum mat then..if you want to know what connector does what see post ten and next time use the bloomin search button..

so what your say is i just use the orange and white connector?

Has your car got bum mat ?..should be possible to take a mat out of a seat and fit that seat into yours if yours hasnt got the mat =OCS..If yours has the three connectors then you need a seat with OCS mat..and one that works..you cant fit a seat into yours that hasnt got a OCS if yours has got the connector for it..think I covered all option there ..
