Have you removed the nut holding the wheel in place..? once thats out use a rubber mallet to persuade it a little along with the obligatory rocking back and forth..I take it you have removed the clock spring from the wheel..

no cant get the nut off mate, i think it's 22mm, doesnt seem to want to budge. what/where is the clock spring?
If its only the nut stopping you then use a chissle and hammer on one flat of the nut to shock it into moving ..once its moved you should then have no problem..a second pair of hands to hold the wheel while you swinging the hammer might come in handy..

The clock spring you will see one you loosen that big bolt and the wheel slides away. Do this very slowly and carefully.
Be careful as the clock spring makes allows the electrical connections between the wheel and dash as you cant use wire becuase of the turning of the wheel.. it will all become evident when the wheel comes off.
The hard bit is refitting it, but thats not your problem is it? *wink*
lol i need to get the wheel off first to see what is "clock spring" is lol. no not my problem Crossy is looking for indicator stalk. so need to remove the steering wheel. to get the small starheaded screws out from behind the wheel. they is like a locking device on the big nut holding the wheel in place so i just took a flatheaded screw driver and broke it off to allow access but its Very Tight!
If you want to reuse the clock spring then just make sure you have the road wheels in line and spokes of the steering wheel 9 to 3 o'clock..clock spring will lock then when its removed from what I remember so it can go back in the same if needed..
