list of problems i hope i can get help with
1 airbag failure light on
2 somtimes i get a few warning lights asr low oil pressure etc but they never stay on think its a gremlin in the sytem
3 streering when turning left or right slow and fasts speeds my steering creeks like ist on notch's per rotation this is doing my head in
4 clutch now this one is the main one my clutch bites really high and i have to give it some accelration to get it to go
to me i think i need to change the clutch but could be wrong as it goes in and out of gears fine no crunching
and dont know what clutch slipping feels like
if it is the clutch is there a guide for changing it

hi Wreksta, did you notice all these problems when you were buying the car?
4.Clutch slip is when you floor the throttle and the car just revs without accelerating as hard as you are revving it.
5. are the disc in good condition when you replaced the discs?
2.. i sometimes get the low oil pressure stop engine when parked on a hill
1. for the airbag i'd check all the connections especially under the seats these may require cleaning.

1. As Scottie has already said check connections.....Give good clean and should hopefully fix ya probs
2. Battery condition..........You need a really good battery for a stilo. Especially now that the weather is getting a tad bit colder my stilo did this last winter put in a new battery and ei presto.
Just out of curiosity why did you swap if it was like this from the get go??
As we've always said if a stilo aint been looked after leave well alone...I hope you get sorted soon keep us posted on your progress

Re: lots of problems with my 1.2 16 active is it a lemon?
as from what i've learned from my stilo:
1. it might be connections, but also it could be the OSD sensor, as mine was fine when i bought the car, but about 1/2 year later it went on and out when there was a person in the seat untill it finally died...
2. check the oil, as i've got the same problem, mines started eating oil like mad about a year ago, i do oil change 1 a year and have to top it up in the middle of it...
as for all the other probs there's quite a few posts in here how to get rid oil the disc squeaking etc.

If i had a PT cruiser i'd swop it for a bucket of fresh air, just to get rid, they're awful. A friend of mine had one, triedto trade it in on another car, and the dealer refused to take the PT lol.

Re: lots of problems with my 1.2 16 active is it a lemon?
i tried to restore the biting point via clip and pull pipe method but the fluid did not come out till i pulled pipe off is there a better way to draw the fluid out via the one click method instead of pulling pipe off
its a bit better
but i rekon it can be much much better if it bleeds correctly
