lots of problems car going offroad
im at the conclusion my car is a proper lemon
so im taking it off the road to do all nessasary jobs
i am doing my clutch on my 1.2 so if any help info guides for this let me know
but i have a really anoying problem my streering is clicky and notchy
ill explain when steering left to right it clicks and creaks this is coming either from the rack or the springs/struts
any way to check.
which if it is the springs is there a method to stop it creaking
changing backbox as its blown
brakes when depressing the brake pedal they creak also this could be related to the springs
one more thing i have a connector on my nearside front caliper thats not connected atm i connected it the other day and i was getting brake pad word error with red circle thing lit up
even thought they are brand new brake pads so i disconnected it no more error any tips on this
thanks for listening

Re: lots of problems car going offroad
break it and buy a good one mate? lol, only joking, clutch change shouldnt be a problem (line it with your finger, thats what i did, no probs!)
. not too sure about the "creaking"

Re: lots of problems car going offroad
Check the pedal mechanism on your clutch/brake for the squeaking, also for the steering check the linkage at the bottom or the column, below/behind the pedals.
That might help with the squeaking.
