about 10minutes ago i went out in the Stilo to get chinese.
i done a Uturn and heard a bang. didnt take any notice really as i had just arrived at the chinese.
anyways got back into the car and moved off turned on my wipers and only the drivers side wiper working.
the passenger side wiper is stuck in park,
i take it my wipe linkage is goosed?
how do i fix it?
i'm thinking take the linkage out of my spare stilo, but how?

Linkages do tend to become disconnected when ware takes place and for a temp measure you could do this..





or a complete repair you could do this



This is a new inovation from wipex ..does away with the two wipers and you end up with one..around about £27 from wipex..

Not as far as I know ..the punto does share parts with other fiats tho..the wiper linkages from wipex are specifically made for the stilo and the way forward from the old linkage problems associated with the stilo..always go forward and never go back when a new solution comes up..thats my thinking..just think in the long run what you will save over the years on blades because you will only have to buy One..

good thinking Phil. i will look into it mate, cheers again. i will do the cable tie method to get me going for mot next week but will definitely look into the wipex system!

Uset he scottie technique, hit with a hammer, Wont work? Hit it again, not working again, repeat steps 1 and 2, until resolved
