2.4 Schui slave and clutch replacement

I am about to replace the Slave and the gearbox has to be removed ,I have looked at the Elearn manual and its saying remove engine. Has any one ever replaced a clutch on a manual abrath or shcui with out removing the engine?

PNL has said that its a lot of bolts ,drive shafts ect .

If any one has experienced it any help or knowledge would be greatas to what to and not remove would be a time saving.

Or try emailing him ..if you want a quicker answer..but there wont be any different than the others just more to undo..

Thanks PNL will give it a go . Has any one ever done a guide on it on here?.

I was trying to find out exactly what has to be removed. Like subframe or wether it could be left in place ect ect.
