You are welcome.
I will check the codes again this weekend as I havent had my car at my house the past week or so.
Clock one works though 100%, but I will tell you all the commands that are used on an ELM to get it to do so.

Just to add,
If you are running linux, ive made some pretty lame python scripts that use python and pyserial to talk send commands to the car (a new language im learning), I can post those up as well if they opf any use?

Hmm. no luck.. tried setting the clock in the car, but somehow it does not want to talk to my obd device...
The only ECu i can talk to is the engine ecu, is that the problem?
I can see that i have a trouble code, but none of the programs is able to read the code, somehow though they can erase it. I know what the trouble code is since its a code which has been haunting me for some time.
Anyways... What software are you using to talk to the car, and what hardware are you using?. Ohh and you talked about a program which you had written, can i get access to that and try?
Ohh and the car is a Fiat Stilo 2003 1.9 JTD 115 Hp
Im. using a windows machine, but i could install a windows version of python and pyserial... Hmm can you talk to the car directly using telnet or will there be too many commands to get it initialized
