I have an Abarth 5dr with auto lights and wipers. The rear view mirror glass is in the process of de-laminating so there is less mirror and more grey/black non-reflective stuff creaping in from all sides. I am after a replacement for it. But how do you remove the original?

I fancy getting hold of an aftermarket auto-dimming/phot-chromatic replacement so I need to see the fitting system before I can find the right one for the job.

Any advice/pics gratefully received.

That do ya..? doesnt answer the question so much but if you need one then there you go..

be very careful remove the mirror as you can easily crack the screen.

the long bit that goes from the mirror to the screen is attach to the screen with a triangular shaped connecting slidy thingy. lol
hit it with the palm of your hand up towards the interior light and it'll slide up and release itself.
