hi guys just got ABS failure in my 2004 1.2 stilo
i turned the ignition off and on three times and it hasn't seemed to clear itself.
its the first time i've encountered this problem. any ideas guys?

p.s i hope i dont have to replace an ABS wheel sensor as i've sold the front 2 from my JTd

Possible that snow has affected connectors in ABS sensors?

Might be worth trying to clean the connections up

Hopfully thats all it is then. TBH I'd wait until it warms up slightly before checking. A)it'll be warmer. B)ABS is fail safe, so just means your brakes will lock instead of ABS kicking in C) some people prefer the brakes locking rather than ABS in this weather. Reacon the stopping is better.

Another thing, check fuses just incase ABS fuse has popped if a bit of snow has shorted a sensor connection etc. Have you activated ABS today before warning came up?

i think i'll just leave it till it gets warmer. i'd rather have no ABS its just the bleeping pisses me off

ABS Failure has gone so MEP was on the button with that one it must have been snow or ice on the sensor.
