Ok, since I had all those problems with the battery, everytime I take a CD out, it will go to AM instead of FM. Is there any known way of changing this back?

hm... dont take the cd out![]()
It's more the fact that when I change CD's I get the horrible distortion noise as it's never tuned in properly and it really bugs me. I don't listen to radio so would be happy if it just went to like radio 1 or something for the short duration rather than the fuzz noise lol

well in that case try storing some radio stations on fm mode and leave them on, pop cd in and back out, see what happens, should stay tuned to most recent radio station imho...
Tried that and it goes straight to AM frequency lol

well in that case i'm no more of a help here mate, as i'm on aftermarket stereo, well dont change the cd's!![]()
Well if my crappy Blaupunkt actually worked for once in it's life, I would be able to use 5 discs and the changing wouldn't be so frequent lmao!

Could be a dodgy button, the CD leaving the slot could cause the tuner to change band.
Get the screwdrivers out lad and check the front panel hehe
Would make sense that lol! I shall take it apart during the week and see if I can spot anything unusual
