    hello.

    two questions which i've been meaning to ask for ages.

    what's the button / knob thing on my dashboard next the the windscreen.

    and where are interior temp sensors for the cars heating.

    The black bobble thing in the centre of the vent just infront of the windscreen is the sensor for the climate control... If your car has this. Otherwise, it's an immobiliser for the alarm. There should be one outside too for external temperature sensing

    You sure its not just blank if you don't have Climate? What you mean by immobiliser?

    Could well be John, some Stilos (With the alarm fitted) have a small sensor fitted under it for the keyfob (So I was told) but if your car has neither an alarm or climate control, then I dont see why it would be there? lol

    Forgot to mention that my comment refers to the 3 door versions. Is the 5 door different in that respect?

    There isn't a RCL sensor under there as its all done via radio frequencies and not infa-red. I think on those cars without Climate its just a blanking cover on the top. All cars would have it, as it'd have cost to much to change the dash mould during production for those models with and those without climate.

    Righto ..Its a solar sensor Philip tells me ..its in all fiats with a combination of climate control/aircon..If I have to go up and down the stairs once more to get an answer I'm going to kill you lot..Philip is deaf and I got a soar throat now shouting when he cant hear me..
