    Misses fancies a SMART for Two and I wondered if anyone has evey had one or knows what to look out for in a second "hand jobbie"? ;)

    Guy at work had one, nothing but trouble with it - gearbox, glass, alarm etc etc

    Reliability is a big issue with them from what I have read ..gearboxes just as Abz has said ..active matt [ex stilo owner] bought a roadster and within 7 months he sold it and had nowt but trouble with it

    My wife's friend ahad one, and her manifold went 2 weeks out of warranty. Dealer quoted £3000 to replace it. Nuff said I think really. I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Merc dealers to start with!

    Thanks all, have decided to stear clear.... serves me right for even thinking about buying a non italian car! Will be keeping cinq, at least I can get my track bike in the back of it.
