Cool Re: air con 1.8 stilo blowing fuse under bonnet any ideas how to solve

The stilo uses a magnetic clutch on the compressor and that has its own coil and I have heared of these failing..the system will need to be checked over by an auto electrician to see if there is a fault with that..he will also check for fuse box problems/relay problems wiring faults and earths ..this can obviously get expensive so you need to take that on board..my car has just come out of the dealer after having a electrical problem and they had it for 3 days what looked like a simple fag light burn out turned out to be a chaffed wire which happened on assembly of the car at the factory and they had to remove the seats and carpets to find that one..just think how much that would have cost if I didnt have a warranty at this time..

Good luck with this johnny keep us in the loop and what happens and what is found..
