Oil sensor switch on Fiat Siena
Hi there!
Hope you can help me with my Fiat Siena oil light warning, seems to be an oil pressure sensor problem as well! Can anyone tell me where to find it, or a link to a workshop manual? Its a 2001 1.6
It first started flickering about 6 months ago, only after driving for longer distances or idling through traffic, when you apply petrol pedal, it disappears as well as when you drive, when you stop and idle, it flickers. It has become progressively worse, it went for a service but we changed oil filter when replacing existing oil with a thicker one. That didnt help unfortunately, check oil and other normal stuff very regularly so nothing is lacking.
I want to try replacing the evasive oil pressure sensor before I get into the oil pump or sump plate scews etc.

What miles / km has the car done? Is it high? I remember being told if a car has done really high miles / km that flickering oil light at idle is acceptable??
