Default Fuse box / Body Computer question

Firstly they are the same thing are they not?

Secondly, is there a 'plug' wiring loom going into the back of it that can only be access when removed does anyone know?

I'm currently fitting a canbus controlled alarm (fingers crossed it works). I've fitted the 2 canbus control wires, but am needing to connect another wire (indicators I believe) and instructions say

Connect to the LIGHT BLUE/BLACK wire pos. 34 of the 36 pins LIGHT BLUE
connector PVDH located on the back of the fuse box.

Does this connector exist? Just I don't want to have to remove the fuse box un-nessecarily. Has anyone any pics of the back of a Stilo Fusebox / body computer?

Thanks Phil, suppose I should have checked eLearn, lol.

So here's the end result of a few hours work, and fiddling with the body computer and its connections.

Hiya guys, I'm on the mobile at the moment as I'm away for Auto Italia at Stanford Hall tomorrow with Torque ItaliaN so can't post a link, but if you go onto eBay post search 'Fiat Can Bus Alarm' it should show just the one. And my video is on the listing. Was £89.99 plus £7.50 P+P which I personally wasn't un-happy paying seeings as we know how hard it is to find these CanBus alarms! Lol

As for instalation, dead easy, if a little time consuming. Took me about 6hours, but that was taking my time and doing the job properly, as well as re-routing the cable for the mic for my in car hands free kit.

The only warning I would give is don't go on the Stilo's wiring colours! Only one colour was correct iirc. You need good eye sight and a torch, and when finding the wires on the Stilo's wiring looms around the fuse box check its going to the correct pin (you'll understand better what I mean probably if you were to do the job, lol).

    Hope this helps.

I have to admit, I was thinking I hope I don't balls it up as its gonna cost a lot of money to sort. Lol. But luckily all is ok, no warnings or anything, just made sure battery was dosconnected when fiddling, and when reconnected just turned ignition on for a minute a time to let the car do its checks etc.

I bought the same one off ebay :-p. I got the Patrolline 841 PTL, although I also recieved the wiring instructions, I am a bit confused why the box included a HPS 91/c Siren considering the alarm was meant to be without the siren.

A few questions though, how do you remove the panels in the footwell of the drivers side? where would you place the small black box (HPS55)? And how do you fit the sonic sensors?

    Thanks! :-)

Hiya. Siren just comes with it, I wasn't complaining, but you could connect it to the horn if you want it to sound like a Ford from the 90's.

Right fus box door pannel is 4 torex screws, and lower shroud had lugs you have to break to remove. I just cable tied it back up. Small back box? Is that for the ultrasonic sensors? I'm not going to say where I placed my control pannel for security reasons, but tbh you can place it where ever you want providing wiring reaches.

As for the ultrasonic sensors, they sit at the top of the 'A' pillars. Have tabs to slide under the roof lining.
