Weird Power Window Problem..
Hi All,
Stilo MS from sunny/wet/hot/wet/sunny/wet (u geddit) Singapore!!
My Michela has been acting up. 1st her iggy coils died, then now her passenger side window refuse to work if operating from the passenger control. However, on the driver's controls, the window will only come down or come up 1 inch at a time! Holding down the Unlock button will see my driver side window come all the way down and the passenger side dropping an inch..
wat could be the problem?
TIA for your replies.
Dave

Re: Weird Power Window Problem..
First off try disconnecting the battery for a few hours it might reset everything if your lucky.. but before that have a look at the door node..it the large connector at the A pillar by the hinges ..see if all well there conection wise.if this doesnt work you might need to get the car to fiat ..they will connect to an examiner and check if it needs proxy alignment..

Wit, sarcasm, you get it all from me..

Re: Weird Power Window Problem..
I had the same problem, it seemed to clear up after a service when presumably the battery was disconnected. isn't it odd that it's only the pasenger side that does it. I'd tried disconecting the switches but that did nothing.

Re: Weird Power Window Problem..
seems like for our cars...reseting is the way to go! once she refuses to go into MR mode, that means i can't engage the electrical circuit..i d/c the batt and it works..
after i remapped, the error for security lock came up...d/c the batt again..
now this..hehe..next time just d/c before seeking help. :E
