I have reverted to supermarket fuel - the V power dissapointingly made no real appreciable difference and as " The Beard" says there was a significant drop in mpgs.... from an average of around 51mpg to 47. Possibly less diesel smoke witht he V power, but hard to be sure.
That said the car has been suffering a low down 'flutter' on occasion and (as I got it at the right price) I bought a Diesel D-tox additive which I ran through a tank of ordinary diesel...... no low down flutter any more and car quite 'chirpy' again ;)
Car will be getting a major service next month (cam belt etc) before the RR day but I will revert to basic diesel and Millers by then. As an aside I'm still waiting for a Forte diesel additive to arrive.... been ten days ::) .... as I've not tried it out yet.

Guys, i can recommend HIGHLY a product called CATACLEAN, it retails for about £17.50 per bottle, however it is very different to the "usual" additives, in that it cleans out the entire fuel system, exhaust and all. We tuned a lot of Catacleans fleet and in turn took a few bottle to test, we tried it on a Megane that failed it MOT test due to emissions, it subsequently passed when Cataclean was run through it.
It has another advanatage as well, you only need to add it every 3 months. Which is far cheaper than evey tank full etc. We now use it in our cars with V.good results.
We supply this now as an option to our tuning customers, We can also do it for fs-oc members too, delivered at a "special" price (looking around £14.50 with delivery ;) )
Anyway have a look at it next time you see it.
