    Default Stilo Alarms

Before any of you tell me to go use the search function I have and read the threads I found prior to posting this :-p.

After doing some searches online I read somewhere that a person had bought a Fiat alarm system off Ebay and had installed it on a Fiat and got it to work with the cars central locking system.

What I would like to know is this possible and how simple could it be to do?

What im looking for is an alarm system that will work with ease, I would like to use the one fob, so basically as if it was fitted on purchase :-p.

    Thanks in advance all :-).

as i understood MEP has got himself one of them and he was quite happy with it, even tho he had a few niggles with it, i've contacted the seller of that alarm system on ebay for more details, schemes etc. - never got back to me, but i was quite keen to get one of them myself... here's a link to that thread Fuse box / Body Computer question

Hi there. I have indeed managed to fit one.

I didn't really have any niggles with it, more my ignorance at refusing to read operating instructions and playing with it before I knew its functions, a bit of a mistake

This is the alarm I brought Fiat CAN BUS Car Alarm System UPDATED ! on eBay (end time 24-Aug-10 0935 BST)

The seller was very good and supportive with me and even sent through fitting instructions before I'd committed to buy.

Fitting took about 6-8 hours in total, but that was taking my time and doing it properly (it worked first time ) as a confident DIY auto electrician.

Works with origional remote, and has been completly problem free to date.

Any more questions then feel free to ask

Nope. Just connected wires as per wiring diagram, and bobs your uncle, away it went and worked :D

PM me your email and I'll send it across for you.

Only comment I will make is that colour codes seem to vary between years, so use the plug pin numbers when wiring and not colours.
