And the air conditioning goes off by it's own!
Hi folks!
So, how's stilos around here?
I have to say that, on which concerns to engine and driving... mine is at it's best form!
But... seems that air conditioning got his own will...
I have the automatic one. And these last two mornings... (rainy ones...) I switched the air conditiong button and, at the first time, it put's it's led on, and works. But some time later... I go again to the button and.... nothing... it doesn't start the ac... Button is working... And even if I stop the engine... and turn on again, and turn the ac on, it stays the led on for few seconds and goes away.... :S
Any clues?
It doesn't affect the engine though! :) Revs keep going! :)

Sounds like compressor isn't kicking in. When was the system last gassed? Might be to low to operate.

It was gassed this summer.... :S
So... if it's that it's good and bad news... The good news is... easy to handle... Bad news is... means a leak!
But... today... on the way back to home... it worked all the way home!!!
So... is it with bad "mood" at the mornings?? lolol
Yeah... I don't mind if my car has some moods once in a while...
Let's see how it goes next days...

Check connecton on the pressure sensor. Looking at car, bottom left corner of the AC rad. Might be able to get at it from the top of the engine bay (can in my 1.4), its just on the pipe before the rad. Give the plug a wiggle to check its on ok.

Looking at the engine bay everything looks fine. No loose things...
I had another idea...
And I remember some time ago (years...) when the first battery when mad (by mad you can read dead) I remember that some time before that some electronics went a little bit crazy... For instance, the fuel indicator gave warning messages... one or two times the ABS+ASR failure (solved with switching on again)... that kind of stuff...
So... might a low battery level be enough to make the electronics a little bit crazy? (like air con and ventilation?)
And I also thought on other thing... You guys know that trick on the climatization system to put it on some kind of diagnosis mode? When you turn on the key, press for some seconds the button for anti-fog rear window and then when you release it, it goes for a mode where it retreives data from the car.
My point is... does anyone knows which is (if exists) the code for battery level?
I only know the one for revs and speed.... I guess 37 is for revs....
So... I would do a self diagnosis on battery level by myself!

Whats that then?
Not sure on the Climate one myself, but do know it can be done.

One the climate screen, when you enter that "diagnosis" mode, the left numbers tells you which parameter is being displayed. And the right numbers gives you the value of that parameter.
Example, if 37 is revs, then its 37 on the left and on the right is for example 09, 15, 20, 30, for 900 rpm, 1500... and so on.
But I really don't know to which are the other ones...
The revs is easy to spot... you just give gas and is if it changes! lol
I know it has some more parameters... but don't know which ones are...

And my climate system seems to be going mad!!!
Today's review is...
- Fan working...
- Fan not working...
- AC on... AC doesn't go on...
- Fan still not work...
- Fan works again....
- Heating doesn't work...
- Heating only on one side... (even though it was the same temp on both sides!)
(In the meantime I have driven with windows open on a cold morning so I could see ahead.....)
Any ideias of what's going on?
Low battery level?
Or maybe climate electronics near death??
Ok.. so.... still with noisy flexi and gained a lunatic climate control!! :) (flexi is only scheduled for upcoming week...)
And the week is just in the beginning! :P lol
