    Default Cleaning my front seats

    Hey everyone, hope you are well =)
    Quick question, as someone spilt white chocolate flavoured milk all over the back of my car the seats are coming out and being cleaned as are the carpets (these arent being removed). i will be using a wet vac (Dad's a carpet cleaner) so i would like to know if i will be able to get the front seats overly wet as i know they contain the passenger load sensor. Will i do it any damage at all?
    Thanks
    Mike =D

    Did you find this post helpful?

    Its electronics and with that in mind I would be fully aware of getting the sensor and conections wet..the seats actually have covers and they can be stripped off..its a bit of a job but I think would be a better option in the long run than have problems maybe in the future..

    Excellent, is there a sticky/guide ive missed with this? Would be very handy as i have a particuarly squeaky passenger seat i could fix at the same time

    Nope I havent done one and as I dont own a stilo now would be rather dificult to do but from what I remember you have to unclip the cables under the seat remove the seat out of the car and then its just a load of clips and a draw string holding it in place..its a bit time consuming but as you said you have a sqeaking seat so you will get both jobs done at the same time..dont forget the pics and how I did it if you tackle it..
