Any Ideas?
Hi Guys
I've got a Stilo 1.9jtd (115) with about 70,000 miles on the clock. For around the past year I've had the engine management light on (P0235) and have just ignored it, the car still runs the only issue is that there is absolutely no turbo, i.e. car just stops accelerating at about 3,000rpm. Over the year this hasn't really got any worse. Strangely when the cold spells hit recently the turbo would work while the engine temperature was low along with negative outside temperatures. Recently I decided to look at fixing it again (after replacing and resiting the solenoid 6 months ago). I noticed that the air intake pipe between the turbocharger and the MAF didnt have a jubilee clip so i sorted that. Using my diagnostic tool I had a look at a few bits and noticed that even with this fix my Air Intake is really low compared to the "Desired" value according to my software, its about 30 compared to a desired 200ish at idle. I think it could just be the MAP or MAF as I've also cleaned the Egr recently.
Wondering if anyone has any ideas?
